Q. Do you collect FREE of charge?

A. Yes, we collect FREE of charge.

Q. Are there any additional costs?

Q. How long does it take you to collect?

A. On average, within 48 working hours but usually same day.

Q. How do I get paid for my car?

A. Cheque Payment or Bank Transfer payment before the car leaves.

Q. How much will I receive for my vehicle?

You can find out how much your car is worth by entering your details here. Our prices

take into account the age, make and model of your car together with  any re-usable parts. Quotes are guaranteed once they have been accepted (subject to the car being supplied complete and intact

including 4 wheels and tyres).

Q. What if I change my mind after I have accepted your quote?

A. just let us know as soon as possible and we will cancel the collection.

Q. Can I arrange to deliver my car rather than have it collected?

A. Yes. Just talk to the team today to arrange delivery at are recycling site.

Q. Do you collect on weekends?

A. Yes we collect 7 days a week, even evenings.

Q. Will I get a receipt when you collect my car?

A. Yes every time!

Q. Do I need to have the registration document for my car?

A. It is preferred but not essential.

Q. Do I need to provide any identification?

A. Under new legislation from 1st October 2013, you must provide photo ID showing your name, date of birth and address when you sell us your car. The ATF will need to retain a copy of your identification for their records.

A photocard driving licence is the preferred form of identification, as it shows your name, photo, date of birth and address. However, other forms of ID are accepted, including:

- A valid UK passport.

- A valid passport from a European Economic Area state.

- A valid UK biometric immigration document.

Q. Will we haggle on collection?

A. No the price we quote is the price you will get every time!

Q. Do you give me a set time for collection?

A. Yes, we arrange a collection time with you. We can either give you an AM or PM slot, or to 'hour windows’, such as between 9am-10am.

Q.Do I have to inform the DVLA?

A. Our recovery driver will complete and leave Section 9 of the V5C (or section 4 on the new V5C/logbooks issued in April 2019) (yellow section) with you which you will need to sign and send off to the DVLA.

Q. My car is still at a garage?

A. We can collect your car from most locations including garages, storage compounds, or your work place.

Q. What if I have taken parts of my car?

A. You need to make us aware of the parts you have removed before you accept a quote

Q. Why cannot I get paid by CASH?

A. Due to the SMDA 2013 (scrap metal dealers act 2013) scrap metal dealers and car breakers can no longer pay for SCRAP vehicles.
